The 2026/2027 SEMVMA CE schedule is finalized! Look for our registration brochures in your mailbox in early September. In the meantime, the schedule is posted on our Events page and you can register via email SEMVMAsecretary@gmail.com or phone (248) 651-6332.

We are getting ready for our new website this fall; we'll have capabilities for digital registration for CE and membership applications, be able to accept payments, be mobile-friendly, and have an easier interface to navigate, but we will be losing our old semvma.com email address.

Our scholarship applications are available for both recent veterinary graduates and current veterinary technician students. See our scholarship page for more information.

SEMVMA is one of the leading regional veterinary associations in the nation.  We are located in the greater Detroit area, and our members come from Southeastern Michigan and Canada.

If you are a recent graduate (Class of 2026) and would like to join the SEMVMA for FREE, click here for your membership application. SEMVMA offers two scholarships every year to recent graduate members through our Debt Reduction Program. Applications for 2026 will open this summer.

The SEMVMA mission is to offer member veterinarians quality continuing education, to encourage public awareness of pet health issues, to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to promote a sense of community among veterinarians.
