SEMVMA is hosting a family-centric trip to Jimmy John's Field to watch some baseball on July 18th. Patio seating, a full summer-picnic buffet, kids events, and complimentary parking will be included. Keep the date open and bring the clinic!

Our Academy Committee is at hard at work evaluating applications to the SEMVMA Academy to recognize those practitioners who went above-and-beyond in furthering their education in 2025.

SEMVMA is one of the leading regional veterinary associations in the nation.  We are located in the greater Detroit area, and our members come from Southeastern Michigan and Canada.

If you are a recent graduate (Class of 2025) and would like to join the SEMVMA for FREE, click here for your membership application. SEMVMA offers two scholarships every year to recent graduate members through our Debt Reduction Program. Applications for 2026 will open this summer.

Mission Statement

The SEMVMA mission is to offer member veterinarians quality continuing education, to encourage public awareness of pet health issues, to serve as a forum for the exchange of ideas, and to promote a sense of community among veterinarians.
